The Albany County Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACCVB) offers complimentary meeting, convention, special event, and film services to anyone who needs assistance. We are the community concierge to attract and ensure successful meetings, events, and filming in Albany.

Along major highways and approximately a three-hour drive from major cities like Boston, Montréal, Buffalo and New York City Albany’s convenient location makes it the Crossroads of the Northeast. If driving isn’t an option, it’s also a main stop for Amtrak and home to the Albany International Airport.

Meeting Facilities

Albany Capital Center (opening 2017) – The Albany Capital Center’s thoughtful two-level design reflects the spirit of the Capital City and its historical landscape presenting versatile event and meeting space, state-of-the-art technology, in addition to ambitious green initiatives. Managed by SMG, a brand synonymous with superb venue management, The Albany Capital Center offers customizable LED lighting, charging stations, digital branding opportunities, 4K Audio Visual Capacity, and High Speed Complementary Wi-Fi. With flexible ballroom, exhibit, meeting and pre-function space, the Albany Capital Center can accommodate up to 5,000 people.

Empire State Plaza Convention Center – 26,000 square foot exhibit hall, 81,000 total square feet across 8 meeting rooms.

The Egg – Two theaters seating 950 and 450 respectively.

Times Union Center – Times Union Center is a full service entertainment and sports facility with seating ranging from 6,000 to 17,000. Featuring a wide variety of family shows, sporting events, trade shows and concerts. The Times Union Center is a New York State qualified production facility.
