Albany – Host it Here! For almost four centuries, New York’s Capital city has been hosting meetings that shaped the nation and continue to mold its future. There are meeting spaces of up to 26,000 sq. ft, 6,000 hotel/motel rooms, 500 restaurants and lively entertainment districts make Albany the ideal destination. The Empire State Plaza Convention Center offers 80,000 sq. ft of meeting space and connects via enclosed walkway to the NYS Museum, 20,000 sq. ft of space and the 17,000-seat Pepsi Arena.

[Transportation Options]

Traveling to Albany is convenient and enjoyable. Located at the crossroads of the Northeast, the Capital Region is accessible by major expressways and modern transportation services. The NYS Thruway (I-90), Adirondack Northway (I-87), I-88 and the Taconic Parkway all converge in the region. The Albany International Airport is services by all major air carriers including low fare carriers with more than 20 non stop destinations. Twelve AMTRAK trains service Albany daily and both national and regional bus services are available.

Airlines: US Airways, Delta Connection, Northwest AirLink, & United Express. Travel from the airport to the downtown is an easy 10 minute drive. Bus travel is also easy to and from our downtown Greyhound and Short Line terminals. Our comfortable inner-city bus system will make getting around locally very easy.
